Wecanclaimtobeproactiveinourlifebysettingsgoalsandgoingafterwhatwewant.Butifwe’realwayswhiningandcomplainingallthetime,arewereallylivingeffectively?
Ifyoudon’tbelieveme,counthowmanytimesyoucomplainaboutsomethingorotherinoneday.Whetheritbebeingstuckintraffic,beingbotheredbytheweather,notenoughmustardonyoursandwich,orwhateveritis,thereareendlessinstanceswhereyoucanfindareasontocomplain.
Butit’snotjustoutsidecircumstancesthatwecomplainabout.Wecomplainaboutaboutourselvestoo.Wecomplainthatwedon’thaveenoughtime,wedon’thaveenoughmoney(thisoneishugebecauseit’soften“true”),thatwe’renotsmartenough,coolenough,orjustenough.
IknowI’veexperiencedplentyofunpleasantnessduetocomplainingaboutthingsIcan’tcontrol.IneverreallythoughtaboutitmuchuntilIfoundthiswebsiteabout“livinginacomplainfreeworld.”
Imaginehowmuchhappieryouwouldbeifyousimplystoppedcomplaining?Muchofwhatyoucomplainaboutisoutsideofyourcontrolanyway.What’sthepointofbroodingaboutsomethingyouhavenopowertochange?Notveryintelligent,ifyouaskme.
Simplybecomingconsciousofhowmuchyoucomplainisthefirststeptostopping.Whenyourecognizethatyou’recomplaining,stopandtakenoticeofit.Askyourselfifyouwouldrathercomplain,orbehappy.
如果我們想要變得高興,為什么要像小孩子那樣呢?
我們可以積極主動(dòng)的在我們生活中設(shè)定目標(biāo),然后向著目標(biāo)進(jìn)發(fā)。但是如果我們整天牢騷滿腹,怨天尤人的話,我們還會(huì)活的有效率嗎?
如果你不相信我,仔細(xì)想想你一天要抱怨幾次。不管是因?yàn)樵愀獾慕煌ɡё。惶鞖馑_,還是三明治上芥末放的不夠,總之生活中有無數(shù)的煩心事可以讓我們抱怨。
不僅僅外部的環(huán)境讓我們抱怨,我們還不斷的抱怨我們自己。比如時(shí)間不夠啊,錢不夠花啊,不夠聰明不夠冷靜啊,反正什么看上去都不夠好。
很多時(shí)候,不愉快都是因?yàn)楸г棺约翰荒芸刂频氖虑。我沒有仔細(xì)的思考過這個(gè)問題,直到有一天我發(fā)現(xiàn)一個(gè)叫“活在沒有抱怨的世界中”的網(wǎng)站。
想想吧,如果你停止抱怨的話你會(huì)變的多么的快樂。反正那些事情又無力改變,整天想著那些你無力改變的事情有有什么意義呢?如果你來問我,我會(huì)說那樣很愚蠢。
停止抱怨要做的第一步就是想清楚你在抱怨什么。當(dāng)你意識(shí)到自己在抱怨的時(shí)候,停下來,問問自己是要變的快樂還是繼續(xù)這樣抱怨下去。
