親愛的同學們:

在準備英語演講比賽的時候,我本想簡單地從網(wǎng)上搜索一些文章作為我演講的內容。我看過很多文章,有著名主持人的、北大教授的、大學生的,也有初中生的。但是看完之后,我放棄了當初的想法,我甚至為當初的想法感到有一些羞愧。因為今天我站在這里向大家演講的主題,是一個莊重而嚴肅的主題;是一個充滿榮耀與自豪的主題;是每一個中華兒女共同期盼的主題。每個人都有屬于他們自己的中國夢,而我,當然也有一直縈繞在心懷只屬于我的中國夢。 

我的中國夢是什么樣的?先賣個關子。 

記得剛剛上學那會兒,我們天真無邪。在課本里,我們學到了很多很多知識,也明白了很多很多道理,我們對祖國也有了一個最基本的概念。我們知道我們的祖國到處充滿陽光,正在慢慢發(fā)展,而我們,就是祖國未來的花朵,未來的希望。我們夢想將來能夠成為祖國的希望。 

這,是我們最初的中國夢。最真誠的我們,最真誠的夢。 

但是,不知道什么時候開始,我們長大了,生活似乎一下子變得和以前不太一樣了,與此同時,雖然我們很不想承認但是卻又不得不承認的是,我們的思想,我們的為人處世觀,我們對我們祖國的看法,也潛移默化中慢慢開始了轉變。我們的社會變得到處充滿欺騙、冷漠、勾心斗角、壓力、腐敗、險惡,我們變得暴躁,不冷靜,憤世嫉俗。我們的國家,似乎也開始變得千瘡百孔。而好多我們親愛的祖國委以重任培養(yǎng)的青年學生們變得輕浮、急躁,更別提什么夢想,什么中國夢了? 

我很驚訝,當大街上有老人摔倒,我們不敢再去扶起;我很難過,當有人做了好事被報道,更多的人說他做作;我很傷心,當我看到我們眾多的青年人變得冷漠、市儈、欺詐以及缺乏理想。 

到底是我們病了,還是我們親愛的祖國病了? 

我的中國夢,不想大談政治,也不想對釣魚島事件發(fā)表慷慨激昂的演講。我只想呼吁,呼吁我們年輕人,呼吁我們祖國的希望能夠將我們的青春一面,將我們的善良一面,將我們的自信一面好好展現(xiàn)出來。我們要學會整理自己的思想,端正自己看問題的觀念,擺正自己的人生方向。我們的中國夢實際上正掌握在我們自己手上,掌握在我們年青一代,尤其是知識分子手上。 

也許,一個人,是渺小的;但是當他和祖國聯(lián)系起來時,就是偉大的。也許,一個夢想,是渺小的,但是當它成為祖國的夢想時,就是不可估量的。也許,我無法用自己一個人的力量撬起整個中國,但是我們千千萬萬年輕人一起為祖國的夢想去奮斗時,我們的祖國就足以令世界顫抖、動容。 

我夢想和萬千具有相同夢想的年輕人去建設我們的美麗中國,沒有虛浮,只有執(zhí)著,只有奮斗,只有勇于擔當。這就是我的中國夢!

Dear classmates:

When preparing for the English speech contest, I simply want to search some articles as the contents of my speech. I read a lot of articles, some from the university professor, some from the famous host, some from the college students, and even from junior high school students. But after reading it, I gave up the idea, I even felt shameful. The topic I want to talk about today is a solemn and serious theme full of glory and pride, which is a common aspiration of all our Chinese. Every Chinese has his own dream of China, and of course, there is a dream lingering in my heart only belongs to my own. 

So what’s my Chinese dream is? Finally I will announce. 

We had learned a lot of knowledge and understood a lot of truth in the book. We had a basic concept to our country at that time. We know that our country is full of sunshine but developing slowly, and we are the future of our country, and our dreams are to be the hope of our motherland. 

 Life became not the same, though we don’t want to admit, it’s the truth that our mind and our attitude to our country is changing. Our society became full of deception, indifference, intrigue, pressure, corruption, sinister, and we became irritable and not calm, detest the world and its ways. Our country seems to have become in a disastrous state too. A lot of young students who were nurtured by our motherland became impatient, let alone what their dreams are, what the Chinese dream is? 

Are we sick, or our dear motherland is in disease? 

I don't want to talk about politics about the construction of our country, and also do not want to speak in excitement emotion speech published on the Diaoyu Island event in my Chinese dream.         

We must learn to organize our own thoughts, correct our own concept, and change our direction to the right side in our future life. Our Chinese dream actually lies in our own hands, in the hands of our young generation, especially of the intellectuals. 

Perhaps the strength of a person is small, but when his or her fate is connected with the motherland, he or she will be hero or heroine. Perhaps a dream is tiny, but when it becomes the dream of a country, it becomes inestimable. Perhaps I cannot change our country by my own, but if thousands on thousands of young people struggle for the dream together, our motherland is enough to make the world tremble, and moving. 

I dream to construct our beauty China with millions of young people who have the same dream. We do it without exaggeration but only with persistence. And this is my Chinese dream!
